The Lot · 6DEGREES Productions LLC · Effective on launch; updated as practices change.

What this app is

The Lot gives a production's client one private link to the job: the schedule, the deck, cuts, approvals, and updates. Access is by an unguessable link or a short join code issued by the production team.

What we store

Project content (schedules, update posts, deliverable links, and deck files) is created by the production team. When you use the app, we store the name you type on notes and approval receipts, the text of your notes, and your approval decisions with a timestamp. Production team members sign in with an email address, and team membership is kept by email. If you enable notifications, a push registration token is stored so the app can send you its one kind of notification: that something needs your review.

What we do not do

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and no sale or sharing of your information. The app has no public feed and no discovery; project content is visible only to the production team and to people holding that project's link or code, which the team can revoke at any time.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Storage, and Cloud Messaging), operated by Google LLC in the United States, and is used only to run the app.

Deletion

Client guests have no accounts; asking the production team to remove a note or approval, or to revoke access, is all it takes. Team accounts can be deleted from inside the app, which removes the account and its sign-in. For any deletion request, email info@6degreesfilms.com and we will handle it promptly.

Children

The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children.
